Artist Profile
Suzy Park
Suzy was born into a musical family. Her father, the late John Park, and brother, Kim Park, both played saxophone with the Stan Kenton Orchestra. After beginning her career in Atlanta, she moved to Orlando in 1990 to join Disney’s “Voices of Liberty”. She then went on to perform with “The Girlfriends” at the Hyatt Grand Cypress for 9 years. You may have also seen her at Epcot with ”American Vybe”.
Suzy’s live performances include Carnegie Hall with salsa artist Tito Nieves and the Hampton Jazz Festival where she opened for David Sanborn. She has been a featured vocalist with the St. John’s River City Big Band as well as the Benny Goodman Orchestra.
Her recording credits include; Disney, Warner Brothers, the Orlando Pops and Fox. She has also recorded with local artists Groove Logic, Tamara Danielson and Captain Harry. Suzy’s own CD with the Harold Blanchard Trio is entitled, “Soulful Fourcast”. She is featured on Yanni’s Ethnicity recording. |
