The Grand Bohemian Hotel Joins Preferred Hotels & Resorts
ORLANDO, FL – The Kessler Collection has announced that the Grand Bohemian Hotel has joined the Preferred Hotels alliance, effective immediately.
As a Preferred hotel, Grand Bohemian will join an exclusive list of the world’s finest independent luxury hotels, and have access to the state-of-the-art reservations systems and guest service professionals. To qualify as a Preferred hotel or resort, each property must pass a rigorous quality inspection, insuring that only the best hotels are represented.
“We want to make our transition to an independent property as smooth as possible,” said Stuart Newmark, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Grand Bohemian Hotel. “Joining with Preferred will ensure that our guests experience the same standards and level of service that comes with the Grand Bohemian name.”
Guests of the Grand Bohemian Hotel will have the option of joining Preferred’s “I Prefer” guest benefit program, allowing them an array of property-specific upgrades and amenities. Guests may also book their stay directly from the Preferred website, and receive alerts on special rates and packages.
The Grand Bohemian Hotel joins several other Kessler Collection hotels in this elite group, including Casa Monica Hotel in St. Augustine, FL; Celebration Hotel in Celebration, FL; Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah, GA; and Beaver Creek Lodge, a Preferred Boutique Hotel in Beaver Creek, CO.
Located in downtown Orlando, the Grand Bohemian Hotel features an elegant, early 20th century European/Bohemian theme with 250 boutique-style rooms including 36 signature suites. Showcasing over 200 pieces of rare artwork from renowned artists such as Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, Larry Young, and David Wu-Ject Key, the hotel is also home to a very rare and expensive Imperial Grand Bösendorfer piano, one of only two in the world.
Additional features include the Grand Bohemian Gallery, Starbucks, 9,600 square feet of meeting space, 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour room service and the rooftop Bohemian Gardens with a pool and sundeck.
