Grand Bohemian Hotel Wins Numerous Best of Awards in 2007

ORLANDO, FL (May 8, 2007) - The AAA Four-Diamond Grand Bohemian Hotel was awarded first place for Best Hotel Restaurant, Best Power Lunch, Best Live Music, and Best Happy Hour by Orlando Magazine readers in its annual Dining Awards issue. The hotel also won six second place and three third place awards in categories such as Best Service, Best Sunday Brunch, Best Place for Cocktails, Best Entertainment, Best Celebrity Spotting, Restaurant That Says “Orlando” Best and more. Readers select from a variety of categories to name their favorites in local dining and entertainment.

The latest awards from Orlando Magazine comes on the heels of the Grand Bohemian Hotel being honored with other prominent industry awards in 2007 including the 2007 AAA Four-Diamond Award, 2007 Wine Spectator Award and 2007 DiRōNA Award. Several awards were also recently given by Orlando Leisure magazine, including Top Spots Around Town (The Boheme), Best Hotel Restaurant (Honorable Mention - The Boheme), Customer-Friendly Wine List (Panel’s Choice - The Boheme), and Best Lounge/Bar Service (The Bösendorfer Lounge).

About the Chef
Chef Zachary Martin is a culinary celebrity in Central Florida and has led many of the area’s finest restaurants to award-winning status. Most recently, Chef Zack owned Zack’s on Park Avenue, where he created and developed memorable menus and maintained the daily operational functions of the restaurant. Earlier, he spent seven years under the direction of Emeril Lagosse in both the New Orleans and Orlando restaurants where he mastered pastry and sous responsibilities. Martin’s culinary creativity spans over 12 years and has encompassed every aspect of the dining experience.
