The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, located across the street on Orange Avenue and South Street, is nearing its completion. As part of the construction schedule, the round building in the corner of Orange Avenue and Anderson Street will be demolished. This process will not involve explosives. However, there is potential for instances where unusual noise may occur. There are noise abatement measures in place and potentially excessive noisy tasks will be performed from 8:00-10pm.
Anderson Street will be closed from Rosalind to Orange Avenue six nights a week from 8:00pm-5:30am. These closures will be intermittent as it relates to the days of the week. The closures and night work will continue from September 29th through October 28th.
We appreciate your understanding and apologize in advance for the inconveniences this work may be causing you during your stay with us.
